All the tools above are totally necessary to have, and with them you can build basically anything! The only reason to buy more power tools would be for ease of use.

If you are just starting out, I recommend buying a combo kit because you will get all of these tools for probably 50% what it would cost to buy them individually + it will come with a few batteries.
